    Hi Rebecca, please could you tell me why there is a drop of 0.06% in annual growth when switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy? I thought renewable energy would generate more growth. Thank you.

    Hi Eduardo – thanks for picking up on this as worth saying a bit more than the infographic allows – the 0.06 per cent is the median annualised drop in the consumption growth rate – (consumption too big a word for the infographic!) because we will have to consume less as well as investing more in clean tech – there is more on the costs in this IPCC doc – page 17 http://report.mitigation2014.org/spm/ipcc_wg3_ar5_summary-for-policymakers_approved.pdf
